Married to Terry Bernath (1975). Three children: Alisa (North Springs High School Class of 1999), Michael (North Springs High School Class of 2002) and Daniel (North Springs High School Class of 2005). Grew up in Midtown. Attended Spring Street Elementary and Henry Grady High School.
